Guinness Storehouse – Dublin, Ireland
The Guinness Storehouse in Dublin is one of those attractions that is hard to miss when visiting Ireland, and even if you aren’t a huge Guinness fan, we think it’s worth checking out. The experience does a great job of telling the story of Guinness, from its history in Dublin to how the famous beer is made. The exhibits are modern, interactive, and interesting without feeling like you’re simply walking through a traditional museum.
There is plenty to see throughout the Storehouse, and the experience gets better as you make your way through the different levels. One of the biggest highlights is reaching the Gravity Bar at the top, where you can enjoy a Guinness while taking in some pretty impressive views of Dublin. It can get crowded, but that’s not surprising considering how popular the attraction is. The building itself is also impressive and adds to the overall experience.
Our honest take: We really enjoyed the Guinness Storehouse and think it’s worth adding to your Dublin itinerary. You don’t have to be a big Guinness drinker to enjoy it, my wife actually enjoyed a Hop House —the history, exhibits, atmosphere, and views make this more than just a tour of a brewery. Real. Simple. Honest: If you’re visiting Dublin, we think the Guinness Storehouse is worth your time.
