Wrigley Field Tour – Chicago, Illinois
There’s something different about walking into Wrigley Field when there isn’t a game going on. You have the opportunity to slow down, look around, and really appreciate the history of one of baseball’s most famous ballparks. The Wrigley Field Tour gives you that opportunity, taking you behind the scenes while sharing some of the stories that have made this place such an important part of Chicago and baseball history.
One of the things we enjoyed most was getting to see parts of Wrigley that you normally wouldn’t experience as a fan sitting in the stands. Being able to walk through the ballpark, hear the history, and see some of the behind-the-scenes areas made the tour much more than simply walking around an old stadium. The guides do a good job of keeping things interesting, and there are plenty of stories and little details that make you look at Wrigley a little differently afterward.
Of course, part of the fun is simply being at Wrigley Field. The ivy, the classic design, the history, and the connection to generations of Cubs fans give the place a personality that is hard to duplicate. You don’t have to be the biggest baseball fan in the world to appreciate it. There’s a certain nostalgia to the entire experience, and it’s easy to understand why Wrigley is considered one of the special ballparks in sports.
Our honest take: We think the Wrigley Field Tour is worth doing, especially if you enjoy baseball, Chicago history, or visiting unique places. It gives you a chance to experience Wrigley in a way you simply can’t during a normal game. If a visit to Wrigley Field is on your Chicago bucket list, we’d recommend adding the tour to the experience.
